Swindon Branch Cats Protection

06 May 2010
Cats Protection is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity, made up of 250 branches and 29 adoption centres, mainly staffed by unpaid volunteers.

Re-homing and neutering programmes, together with working to reunite lost cats with their owners, ensures that more than 193,000 cats are given the chance of a better life every year. The charity believes that neutering is the only effective way to reduce the number of unwanted cats in the UK and each branch either runs neutering programmes, or will assist with the cost of neutering cats.

If you need help to get your cat neutered because you are on means-tested benefits then the Swindon Branch may be able to contribute towards the cost of the neutering if your cat is over 5 months old.

In these particularly difficult economic times Swindon Branch has seen a significant increase in the number of cats, particularly over 5 years of age, needing to be re-homed. Some will require special considerations when re-homing but many just want a second chance of a happy life.

If you feel you are able to offer a new home to one of our cats, or just want further information on neutering, please contact us in any of the following ways:-
