ACTIVITY WEEK SUCCESS

A fantastic week of free activities was held between 28th July -1st August for Year 6 primary school students, who will be making the transistion to Year 7 at Isambard Secondary school this September.
Over 90 pupils participated in various exciting activities all week, including Arts and Crafts, The Fire Service, Dance, Circus Skills, A Climbing Wall, Multi Sports, Football, Personal Safety Awareness, rock school and Crime Scene Investigation with the CSI from Devizes Police Headquarters. The programme was repeated between 4th-8th August for Nova Hreod students
This programme is funded via Swindon Borough Council via the Extended School Services Agenda, and has been coordinated by Sandra Collis and Lisa Parkinson, Extended School Services Coordinators for the Isambard and Nova Hreod Cluster. The whole agenda is directed at offering the pupils a chance to try new activities, whilst building new relationships with their peers whom they will be working with in September.
