NORTH SWINDON FUN DAY
03 June 2008
There will be an outdoor event on Saturday 28th June located on the Asda Walmart site. It is called North Swindon Fun day and Battle of the Bands and is aimed at bringing the community together and to change adults perceptions of young people. The young people at the youth club have been helping to organise and will also be helping on the day.
A bouncy castle, flux bus, stalls, circus entertainers. Battle of the bands will start at 2pm but the day will open at 10am till 5pm.The need - tombola prizes for the tombola stall and cake donations for the cake stall for the 28th June. These could be handed into youth club or the library if youth club is not open.
One of the youth workers is also looking for sponsors as he will have his legs waxed on the day!! ouch!
