Swindon bus firm Thamesdown Transport have announced a number of changes to their bus network which will affect residents of Priory Vale and Taw Hill.
The changes, which take effect from Tuesday 27th May, follow a year-long exercise where the bus company consulted with passengers, local stakeholders and user groups, as well as a detailed analysis of customer travel patterns and a comprehensive consultation exercise.
The changes to the network include:
• A new bus service for Haydon End: Bus Service 15, every 15 minutes
• A new bus service for Ash Brake: Bus Service 24 every 30 minutes
• Improved bus service for Redhouse, Oakhurst and Taw Hill: Bus Service 18 every 20 minutes
Thamesdown Transport will be informing customers about the changes in a number of ways over the coming weeks. These will include:
• Revised timetables have been posted on the Thamesdown Transport website – www.thamesdowntransport.co.uk • A Thamesdown Transport newsletter detailing all the service changes will be distributed door-to-door to the areas affected in May. • A new timetable booklet will be available in the Thamesdown Transport Travel Shop in Fleming Way from 6th May.
