FIRST RESIDENTS
02 February 2002
It's official. Chris and Tracy Barnes with their daughters Natalie and Jessica, will go down in history as the earliest occupants of Priory Vale. The couple took up residence in a three-storey built by Bloor Homes, located in the development - Saunders Brook.
Bloor Homes is celebrating a return to housing development in Swindon after an absence of seven years. Speaking from Saunders Brook, Bloor Sales Manager Lorraine Palmer said: "Not only are our offices based here, but many of us live in Swindon and it feels great to be back home. This is a super development and it came as no surprise when our first sales were off plan. The new home of Mr and Mrs Barnes was built at the same time as our first show house. The show home will open next weekend and everyone is welcome."
Priory Vale is setting new standards in urban design and the build will continue for the next 10 to 12 years. On completion, the northern expansion project, which includes Abbey Meads, Ash Brake and St. Andrews Ridge, will be the largest privately funded urban expansion project in Europe.
