The
school caters for children aged from 4 –
13 and this year has seen the opening of
a new Pre-Prep department with significant
investment in new facilities and resources
for those children in Reception, Year 1
and Year 2 classes. Although only in its
first year the Pre-Prep department has been
launched with almost 60 pupils.
Pupils
are taught in small classes of between 10
and 20 and we accept pupils with a broad
range of ability. Our broad based Pre-Prep
curriculum gives children an excellent start
to learning with French taught to the youngest
pupils as well as an exciting programme
of Forest School. Our modern facilities
include a large, sports hall, new ICT suite
with 20 flat screen computers, art studio
with pottery kiln, music studio, extensive
playing fields, new astroturf and 25m outdoor
heated swimming pool. A wide ranging before
and after-school programme exists. Some
of the most popular activities include judo,
Irish dancing, golf, tennis, fencing, debating,
chess, choir and orchestra, business enterprise,
art, Eco club and archery.
Children from our school progress to both
state and independent schools including
our own senior school Prior Park College
in Bath. We are very welcoming to those
who may be considering an independent education
for the first time.
